| INTRODUCTION TO COSMIC |
COSMIC (Children of St Mary’s Intensive Care) was founded in 1994 to raise money for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London, which treats around 400 desperately sick children every year.
We also fund internationally significant research into the causes, effects and treatment of life-threatening childhood diseases.
Here are just a few of the things that we have been able to achieve:
COSMIC has purchased over £1,000,000 of life saving equipment.
We have spent over £500,000 on ground breaking research into paediatric health.
COSMIC has been helping parents for a number of years not least by funding accommodation in local hotels- helping families to stay close at hand during a particularly traumatic time.

None of this work would be possible without the hard work of COSMIC’s supporters who help us to raise much needed funds. To find out more about how to get involved click here.
